Who is Shalyndra?
Hello world!! I’d like to start out by telling you a little about myself. My name is Shalyndra Hicks and I am a fashion marketing and management major in hopes of making it big in the fashion industry. I’ve always been an outgoing person who was willing to try new things. I feel you should never rule something out before trying it that is why I live by the motto, “I’ll try anything once” and with this site, I’ll give the readers the truth, false, ins and outs of any and everything that I come into contact with, especially fashion!
Why Fashion?
Fashion is a form of self expression for many people. I’ve always had the longing to help people and bring out the inner beauty in them. Many people don’t realize that one can appear beautiful on the outside, however if that person is not happy on the inside, it will eventually show in his or her outer appearance. For this reason alone, I feel it is my duty to give readers ways to improve themselves from the inside out. This way along with helping them look fabulous on the outside, we can make a difference in the world from the inside. Heart truth. Heart fashion. Heart you.
